Who we are

Someone getting excited on the internet wondered where we, Belmont Town of (more!) Homes, were getting our money and who exactly we were. You can join our email list, introduce yourself, and see who wants to introduce themselves; or you can see us at a housing-related event and ask. We started as an email list and added this website. We aren’t an incorporated group. We are a loosely affiliated group of Belmont residents who are interested in supporting more housing in Belmont who belong to an email list. When we become an incorporated “dark money” organization we will let you know. Meanwhile, the housing nerd / doctor who set up the website and email list, did it with his very own money. Someone else had a table already so we didn’t have to buy that. We had some sticker paper and paper for flyers already and I haven’t yet had to buy new printer toner.

The point is, this isn’t some stealth dark money thing. It’s Belmontonians who really care about this issue. Some of us are town meeting members, some are housing experts and advocates, some are just civically active folks in town. If you care about this issue, consider joining us!
