Where we are in the MBTA Communities process

After years of work and multiple public meetings, the MBTA Communities Advisory Committee has now submitted its plan to fit the requirements of 3A—aka the MBTA Communities Act—to Belmont’s housing needs. The map is here. The report from the Committee is here.

Belmont Town of (More!) Homes started as an email list, but as this process moves closer to a vote at Town Meeting, we are now a group of Belmont neighbors who believe in increasing housing supply and housing diversity in Belmont, working together to advance this plan to approval—and then work towards next steps that further benefit our town.
